Hello family and friends,
May 14th marks a very special day. It is my dad's 50th birthday! His party will be hosted at my dad's house in Surprise on May 10th. Suzie will later provide updates for me as the birthday party draws closer. But the main reason I created this blog is to start planning for his surprise present. For his birthday, I wanted to do something special for him from all of us and truly surprise him (of which I am sure many of you already know how hard it is to surprise him!) For his present, I want to be able to send him and Suzie on a vacation/honeymoon. Right now, my brother and I have put together funds toward the trip of their dreams and are asking for help from our friends and family to raise more money (as opposed to giving traditional birthday gifts). Any contribution toward this trip would be much appreciated. I have set up a Bank of America savings account specifically for my father's present. I will be keeping a spreadsheet of moneys given and will regularly post the dollar amount on this blog so that everyone can easily keep tract.
Please don't make any mention to my father about this surprise. The expression on his face will be priceless!!!
